Some infrastructure or service providers we use may store or process data outside New Zealand (for example, a datacentre location chosen for your service, or an overseas-based software provider — this includes our own Australian systems). Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure those providers handle personal information consistently with the New Zealand Information Privacy Principles and the Australian Privacy Principles, to the extent practicable for a small business.
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and rate-limited admin authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, meet legal and tax record-keeping obligations, and resolve disputes. Where information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
